learn moreGrow Community is one of the first endorsed One Planet neighborhoods in North America. Your home here was inspired by the ten One Planet Living Principles that include zero carbon from buildings, sustainable transportation, health and happiness, just to name a few. Everything at Grow is designed to make it easier for you to live a healthy, connected and sustainable life within the resource limits of our One Planet.

Although this community emphasizes walking and other alternate means of transportation, we do accommodate vehicle parking for residents. In line with the One Planet Living principles, we have a limited number of vehicle parking spaces at Grow Community 1. When we all observe the rules for use of these spaces, we are supporting the whole community.
Grow Community 1 allots one parking space per resident unit in the parking lot called Wills Lane, accessed off of Grow Avenue. Currently, these spaces are assigned by unit and marked with a number. There is no fee for parking. Please register at the Grow Community 1 website to be assigned a parking space. Please only park in your space and ask your guests to park only in spaces marked for guests, not in numbered spaces.
The green spaces and seating areas throughout the community are available for all residents to use. These are our shared yard spaces – please be respectful and help the community maintain these spaces neatly. We ask that you walk your dog elsewhere and do not allow them to relieve themselves on the lawn or on any of the plants (especially the berries) along the walkways.
There are organic garden beds throughout the Grow Village available for all residents to use. Some are shared beds and others are managed by individuals. In accordance with our commitment to One Planet principles, all landscaping and gardens use organic plants, seeds, soils and pest management. Please note, the compost bins near the gardens are for garden waste only. All other compostable materials should be disposed of in the green yard waste bins in the garbage enclosures in the parking lot.
The Hart Community Center is available for all residents to use and enjoy both through attendance at scheduled events, concerts, classes, or to reserve for private parties. Check out the calendar once you have registered. We hope you will join in or even suggest or lead events that share your interests or skills!
